You’ve made it!

Beat Your Screen Time challenge is finished! Amazing 282 305 participants subscribed to the Strava Challenge, 157 485 made it to the goal of cycling 20 hours in four weeks. We are overwhelmed by the riders who accepted the challenge and their will to challenge their screentime.

If you took part, congratulation! And go further: stop watching, start riding.

How we did it at FOCUS

Our FOCUS Riders did finish as well, some days had been filled with struggles, some with joy. But in the end, they achieved their goal: 4 weeks with more riding than screentime.

Mario Pöss

Lead Design Engineer

Avg. screen time: 11 h per week

Favourite bike: JAM²

Tactic: Riding bike with my family

"Kindergarden and schools are closed, so I really have to schedule my appointments."

"Instead of going on a bike holiday I do micro adventures with my family."

"Time on the bike with my family automatically reduces my screen time. Well, besides the inevitable Insta stories;)"

"Decreasing my 1.5 hours of daily screen time to 1 hour a day would be great. Riding 1 hour a day sounds possible."

Mathias Wälde

Mechanic

Avg. screen time: 14 h per week

Favourite bike: SAM

Tactic: Less gaming

"The only thing I'm really missing right now is the group rides with a beer together afterwards."

"I have a soft spot that nobody knows. A small, stupid game called ‘Gardenscapes‘."

"Having a look at your screen time on your mobile phone makes you realise how much time you waste."

"Damn, I will get really fit as I have to skip the beers and add more miles to the rides."

Max Hilger

Content Manager

Avg. screen time: 15 h per week

Favourite bike: IZALCO MAX

Tactic: Eight o'clock Club

"As day time right now is really packed with work and kids, I started the Eight o'clock Club:"

"In the evening, when the kids are asleep and my wife is doing yoga, I go for a ride.

"The last weeks were really weird, so I guess screen time isn't representative."

"Riding 15 hours a week is impossible for me, but maybe I can do 8."

We have a winner!

Smiles for miles. Happy winner and now owner of a brand new IZALCO MAX 9.7 AXS: Tommy H.

Congratulations!
