The application process

We want to explain our application process to you in detail so that you know what to expect. We believe that getting to know each other well is the best prerequisite for a good working relationship.

FIND YOUR PERFECT JOB

If you have found a job that you are interested in, you can apply via the link in the job advertisement. The following application process runs via Softgarden, for which you first need to create an account. We will then look at your application and usually get back to you within 14 days.

GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER

The first interview will take place online with one person from HR and one other person from the respective department. Here we want to get to know you better and what your motivation is for the job. We are interested in who you are, what you have done so far, and why this position and FOCUS are exciting for you. At the same time, you have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know us better.

JOB-RELATED TASK

For the second round of interviews, you may be given a task related to your field of expertise. There are no restrictions on how you approach and present the task. This round of interviews will take place at our Homebase in Stuttgart.

If time and weather permit, we would like to go for a bike ride with you after the interview. We have learned from experience that this is a great way to get to know each other better and gives candidates a better feel for our culture.

If we are both sure that we want to walk the future path together, you will receive comprehensive onboarding during your first three months at FOCUS.

The application process may vary slightly depending on the position. Of course, we also try to take your current place of residence into account and conduct the first of the two interviews online if possible.
