How long will my battery carry me?
We cannot provide you detailed information about the battery reach as it depends on many different parameters (weight of the rider, terrain, tires, tire pressure, temperature etc.) As these factors are unknown to us, we can't give you a fact based information about it. For more information about the battery spec, please check the product detail page.
What is the weight limit of the bikes?
The total weight limit includes the weight of the rider, bike and all equipment. For a pure-bike, it is set at 110 kg and 120 kg for an e-bike or ATLAS. Exceptions are AVENTURA², JAM² 7. series, JARIFA² with 150 kg, and PLANET² with up to 130 kg. For MY21 the e-mountain bike THRON² gets an upgrade and is from now on approved for a total weight limit of 135 kg.
Important: The total weight limit is noted on the CE-sticker that you can find on your frame.
No, attaching child seats to our bikes is not permitted.
I'm looking for the right R.A.T. thru-axle for my bike, but I can't find the measurement that is written on it?
The dimension shown on the thru-axle is the total length. You only need to pay attention to the installation dimension (e.g. 142x12 or 110x15) and the R.A.T version of your bike.

How do I remove the battery from the FOCUS SAM², JAM² 6. series and 8. series?
You can remove the battery of your FOCUS e-bike in 3 simple steps. It doesn't matter whether you have a FOCUS SAM², JAM² 6. or 8. series - the process is the same for all three bikes. Watch the 3 steps as a video here.
Removing the battery in 3 easy steps:
1. Open the buckle mechanism. 2. Flip open the battery cover. If locked, unlock the battery lock. 3. Open the locking mechanism on the strap and pull out the battery at the same time.
To insert the battery, simply follow the 3 steps in reverse order. It is important that the battery locking mechanism engages securely to ensure a safe ride. However, additional locking is not necessary.

If you need spare parts, please get in contact with your service partner. He is able to order FOCUS original parts from us. If an accessory from another manufacturer is damaged, your partner will directly contact the manufacturer.

Which warranty policy does FOCUS offer? What about third branded parts, which are originally assembled to my bike?

How long is the warranty period for my e-bike battery?
You will have 2 years of warranty on the battery after buying the e-bike. In case of any other warranty questions regarding the battery, please get directly in touch with your delivery partner.
How can I extend my warranty?
In addtion to the legal verification of 2 years, we offer our customers the possibility to extend the total warranty period to 6 years on carbon frames and forks or 10 years for all e-bike frames. I bought a second hand bike, does the warranty still cover the bike?
The warranty period goes into effect upon purchase and is only valid for the first owner; it is non transferable and invalid for second hand bikes and will not be extended by replacing the frame or any part of it.
Does FOCUS offer crash replacement?
Yes, FOCUS offers a crash replacement for carbon frames and forks since production year 2013. The offer comprises a price reduction of 50% of the frameset retail price in the first year following the date of purchase. In the second year, following the date of purchase, this price reduction amounts to 30% and to 20% in the third year. Can I order touch-up paint for my bike?
If you´re in need of touch-up paint for your bike, we have to ask you to contact your FOCUS service partner. We can offer him a number of different colors for our bikes.
Ideally, all bicycles are shipped within 48 hours of your order. Your service partner and you will receive a confirmation to the email provided when the bike is shipped. The bike will then be delivered to the partner who will professionally assemble it.
IS THE EXACT DELIVERY TIME / DATE GUARANTEED?
The delivery times stated on our website are not binding and are only estimated delivery times. However, we do our utmost to ensure that the bike is delivered quickly to the dealer, who will professionally assemble it for you within a short period of time.
WHERE ARE THE BIKES SHIPPED FROM?
All bikes are shipped from our warehouse in Emstek (Northern Germany).
CAN I COLLECT MY BIKE DIRECTLY FROM THE FOCUS WAREHOUSE OR THE PLACE OF MANUFACTURE?
As "click & collect" involves our service partners in order to offer our customers the best service, unfortunately, your order cannot be collected directly from us. Please contact your Focus service partner.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?
We ship the bike free of charge to the service partner, who sets it up and adjusts it professionally. If you do not want to keep the bike, we, unfortunately, have to charge max. 50€ for the return.
