Our Cockpit Integration Solution (C.I.S.) ensures a tidy look of your bike's cockpit and completes the clean design of our (e-)MTBs.
As we constantly develop our technology further, we meanwhile offer three different versions of our stem. The main difference between our C.I.S. and our C.I.S. 2.0 stem lies in their cable routing and weight. The One Piece SL Cockpit, a full carbon stem handlebar combination, sets completely new standards in terms of integration.
All solutions offer the advantage that you can easily adjust your cockpit setup according to your preferences and riding style. This means that you don't have to worry about technical aspects, but can head straight to your next adventure. For more time on the trails.
Advantages of our C.I.S. 2.0 stem for (e-)MTBs
What is the difference between C.I.S. and C.I.S. 2.0?
C.I.S.
All cables run through the front of the handlebar into the stem and through the headset into the frame.
C.I.S. 2.0
The C.I.S. 2.0 stem, the updated version of our previous C.I.S., features a different cable routing: All cables run directly into the frame below the stem.
Its major adavanteage compared to its predecessor is that you don’t have to open brake lines or shifting cables when changing the height of your cockpit. This way, making adjustments of cockpit setup according to your preferences is even easier.
Our C.I.S. 2.0 stem with its standard length of 50 mm (Art. Nr. 250002700) weighs 180 grams and is significantly lighter than the previous version.
We also offer a shorter 40 mm version (Art.Nr. 250002600) which weighs 150 grams.
One Piece SL Cockpit for (e-)MTBs
As if from a single mould
Our One Piece SL cockpit combines handlebars and stem into a single unit and is entirely made of carbon fibres.
This technology weighs only 290 g, with a standard width of 800 mm and a virtual length of 50 mm, making it the lightest cockpit solution on our FOCUS bikes.
The best part: If you are already riding a FOCUS (e-)MTB, you can easily enhance it with our One Piece SL cockpit as it can also be purchased separately (Art.Nr. 210002600).Please note that this is only possible for bikes with integrated cable routing and acros headset.
