The French specialist magazine VTT Magazine put our FOCUS Spine C 0.0 through its paces in an individual test and awarded it nine out of a possible ten points. The testers were greatly impressed by the Spine's versatility, and in particular they highlighted its light weight, efficiency, agility, comfort and potent rear triangle. At the same time, the Spine C 0.0 offers outstanding control: "One of the Spine's strengths is its responsive steering: in sharp bends you stay completely in control with the upside-down fork and good lateral stiffness."
"Featuring a well-designed sloping frame with seat stays integrated in the extension of the top tube, short asymmetric chain stays, […] and lots more, the Spine shows off its high-speed credentials."
Verdict: The Spine is equally at home on cross-country trails and in mountain or hill ranges: "All our testers agree about the riding position for optimal control of this full-suspension bike: wide handlebar, steep seat tube angle, central riding position for exerting real pressure on the pedals, and an ever-ready, very compliant shock. All the components of this bike call out for you to test them on varied and technically challenging terrain."
