RAW LIKE THE VICE
When we told pro rider Olly Wilkins about our single pivot bike VICE, he got quite curious about it. He gave it a try on his home trails at the really recognizable Swindon (Yes, exactly that Swindon). And Rupert Fowler documented it on video. The result: A video as pure and raw as the VICE itself. Dedicated to the ones who love the sound and ease of pure riding.
The VICE summarises everything I like about single pivot bikes. Ultimate simplicity. No flex, no nonsense, honest fun.
I can go out riding in the worst weather that London has to offer, leave that thing in the shed and it'll be good to go the next day. That's what I love about single pivots!
“ANGLE WISE IT FELT SPOT ON. IT'S FUN TO THROW AROUND AND REAL STIFF.”
Olly’s build: I have my VICE bike built up with DMR components as well as Sram Eagle drive. The suspension is taken care of with an X-Fusion McQueen up front and a O2 Pro RCX shock with a really progressive tune. I actually have 140mm of travel on the front of my VICE to eat some bigger hits. I paired all of the above with my Reynolds Enduro wheels and some Schwalbe Magic Mary's. It's the ultimate Loam bike!
