Focus has pretty much nailed it

Online reviews on the new Izalco MAX and Izalco Chrono MAX

After the launch of the new Izalco MAX and Izalco Chrono MAX, various online platforms have written reviews on the new frame-sets of FOCUS. In the following you can read what they think about our new weapons.

bikeradar.com: “Riding a mechanical-equipped bike, we appreciated the stripped back simplicity of the design, but especially the purity of its performance. On first impressions, the Izalco Max is equal to any of the current crop of pro team bikes, possibly with a slightly firmer feel and, potentially, far less weight.”

road.cc: “The Izalco has been in the company’s range for a few years and while it's been tweaked and updated in that time, it has never been the lightest frame. That's no longer the case, with a size 54 frame weighing a claimed 725g, and new 295g fork, putting it right alongside some of the lightest bikes currently available.”

cyclingweekly.co.uk: “With the bike's raison d'etre being lightweight and stiffness, Focus has pretty much nailed it. It's an impressive 760g frame and 295g fork.”

bicycling.co.za: “Weight-wise, it’s in the category of the new Scott Addict SL and Cannondale Evo – it’s a seriously impressive piece of engineering at 760g for the frame and 295g for the fork, and notable stiffness figures.”
