„Cyclocross, touring, or racing on slicks – the Mares AX 1.0 looks and feels great in each discipline. […] it‘s hard to find another aluminium cyclocross bike that can give it a run for its money.“
The Mares cyclocross bike is extremely easy to shoulder on account of its special frame design.
The cables and hydraulic lines are routed inside the frame for protection, which extends their life and ensures flawless shifting every time.
The FOCUS full-carbon fork, including the dropouts, is made seamlessly from a single piece. It offers even higher lateral stiffness coupled with good absorption of impacts with the road surface.
For disc brake bikes in the road and cyclocross segment, the FOCUS engineers have developed the first thru axle system that combines greater strength and lateral stiffness with the fastest wheel-change system ever.
