Focus Bikes

The Super Bud 4.0 comes kitted out with SRAM components, which is unusual in this price range. The SRAM components echo the black/white colour scheme, and thus blend in perfectly with the overall look. The bike proved itself to be outstanding not only in aesthetic but also in engineering terms in this year's aktiv Radfahren megatest. The testers were enthusiastic about the tyres, the handling of the seatpost and various other details. The editorial team rated this bike “Very Good”, summarising as follows:

 “For a full-suspension bike, the Super Bud is extremely good value for money. Of course, it cannot be expected to hold its own against expensive machines. However, Focus has proved here that there is no need to spend more than this to get a full-suspension bike suitable for touring.” 

The FOCUS Super Bud 4.0 was tested in the mountain bikes category. Ten bikes were tested in all, and eight of them were rated “Very Good”.
