Cayo Evo 1.0: Best buy recommendation and praise for the newcomer

The Cayo Evo 1.0 is tested for the first time. With its individual styling, coordinated colour scheme of matt and glossy black and, not least, its low weight, the new carbon racing bike scored highly in “Rennrad” magazine.

Rennrad magazine demanded a test. Not just a test, but a test of the bestsellers. FOCUS entered the completely newly developed Cayo Evo 1.0 into the race. Completely newly developed? Some people may ask how it could then be a bestseller. But it’s not only the FOCUS product managers who were confident enough to send a bike that will only shortly arrive in the shops. The racing bike testers are also of the opinion that the Cayo Evo has the potential to be a smash hit. One thing is already clear: the bike has been named as a best buy!

 

But now to the details. The testers liked various aspects of the Cayo Evo. On the one hand, they praised its innovative styling, which is emphasised even further when combined with the change from matt to glossy black. On the other hand, they were also impressed by the high-quality equipment and the lightweight frame. In their final assessment, the testers awarded 8.39 out of a total of 10 points; more points than for any other bike.
