The U.S. American online magazine talkingtreads.com has tested the Variado 2.0.

The U.S. American online magazine talkingtreads.com has tested the Variado 2.0. After more than 500 miles, the testers were able to reach a clear verdict: With its excellent shock absorption and good-natured cornering behaviour, in addition to an extremely fair price, the Variado offers a sensational price/performance ratio.

The testers from talkingtreads.com admit that they are far from professionals, and that their online magazine has been created and maintained simply because of their love for biking. FOCUS was all the more pleased to read about the test on the website. Why? Because the testers were completely satisfied with the Variado 2.0. For one thing, they were delighted with the high degree of rigidity provided by the frame design, whereby clever details such as the dropouts ensure the necessary damping comfort. This allowed the testers to fully enjoy even the harshest Californian side streets.

The bike's gear ratio (front: 50/34; rear: 11-27) was also met with approval, offering the right gear for every situation. The breaks and the 24 mm wide Continental tyres also contributed to the great ride. It is precisely these parts which have a significant influence on the bike's handling.

Overall, the Variado made an outstanding impression. In fact, the testers have written that they are very sad to have to give the bike back.
